Facelifts are all the rage right now, and Ricki Lake is happily showing off hers. The TV icon and documentary producer, who's long been praised for her honesty and vulnerability, made the personal decision to go under the knife, and unlike some celebrities who try and keep it a secret, she's happy to share.
© GettyLake stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on June 12, and after Cohen complimented her looks, she revealed, “I’ve had a lower face and neck lift." Lake lost 40 pounds without medication, which she said left her with some loose skin.
© GettyMore than happy with her results, she proudly gushed, "I kind of think it’s the best facelift I’ve ever seen." She even shouted out her doctor, whom she called a "genius." “Dr. Allen Foulad is the best, and I’ve sent many people to him," she explained.
© GettyBeing open about her procedures is important to her. "I love that I can talk about it. I’m fully transparent, always have been," she explained. "I don’t want there to be any stigma. This is something that was bothering me."
Fans of Ricki know this isn’t the first time she’s let the world in on her physical and emotional transformations. Back in 2020, she made headlines for shaving her head after years of silently dealing with hair loss.

After reaching her "breaking point," she shaved her head, and with the help of science and medicine, her hair grew back.
While Lake thinks her facelift is the best, there is one woman who might think she has the best one: Jenner. The momager recently went viral after debuting a fresh new face by New York-based facelift magician Dr. Steven Levine.
As for how much a facelift costs? According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the average is $11,395, but with the higher-end celebrity surgeons, that price can skyrocket.
