Clara Bullrich spent years advising some of the world’s wealthiest families. Alongside that work, she turned her attention to the entrepreneurs who were overlooked by traditional investors. The Argentine financier believed some of the best business ideas came from places far beyond Silicon Valley, and she wanted to help them succeed.

Born in Buenos Aires, Bullrich moved to the United States at 22 and studied international business at Trinity College. She has built a career of more than 25 years in private wealth management, including senior roles at Alvarium-Tiedemann Global, and today at Guggenheim Investment Advisors, advising families and foundations. But for Bullrich, the work has never been only about the numbers.

What drives her is helping families think about longevity and legacy: how to live longer, meaningful lives, what they want their wealth to make possible, and the values they hope to pass on to the next generation. She sees her role as part strategist, part trusted partner, helping clients turn financial security into freedom, purpose, and lasting impact. That perspective gave her a front-row view of where capital flows and where it doesn't, and sparked her interest in the entrepreneurs behind new ideas.

In 2017, she co-founded TheVentureCity with former Facebook executive Laura González-Estéfani. Based in Miami, the firm focused on startups across Latin America, Spain, and Europe at a time when most major investors were centered on Silicon Valley. Bullrich believed that entrepreneurs in these regions had the ideas and ambition to compete internationally but often lacked the connections and financial backing available to their Silicon Valley counterparts.

In 2026, TheVentureCity celebrated its ninth year in business. Passport, a company that helps online retailers sell internationally, was acquired in a deal worth up to $425 million. And Belo, an Argentine app that makes it easier to manage money and cryptocurrency, also secured $14 million in new funding. Both were early investments for the firm.

Bullrich's curiosity about technology also led her to blockchain. In 2022, she cofounded Ola Guild Games with Nico del Pino, a Spanish-speaking Web3 gaming community created to reach people across Latin America who have limited access to traditional financial services. Growing up in Argentina helped shape her interest in finding new ways for more people to participate in the digital economy. For her, true financial inclusion means more than access to a bank account. It means giving people the tools, knowledge, and opportunities to build wealth on their own terms, so that where someone is born no longer limits how far they can go.

Having worked in industries where women remain underrepresented, Bullrich is committed to helping others enter the field. She supports Women in Blockchain and contributes to Komorebi Collective, which invests in women and non-binary crypto founders. LAVCA recognized her among Latin America's Top Women Investors from 2021 to 2024. Closer to home in Miami, she serves on the board of The Bass, Miami Beach's contemporary art museum, where she is also treasurer.

For Bullrich, success isn’t simply about building wealth. It’s also about what that wealth and experience can make possible for other people. She believes great ideas can come from anywhere, and wants more people to have the chance to turn theirs into something meaningful.
