Mexican born Sofia Niño De Rivera has already had numerous successes as a stand up comedian. She is a cast member of the Netflix show ‘Club de Cuervos.’ In addition, Sofia was the first woman to have a Spanish language Netflix comedy special.
The special is entitled ‘Sofía Niño de Rivera: Selección Natural’ and was released in 2018. The Mexican comedian is so much of a success that there is even a ‘Sofia Niño De Rivera Collection’ on Netflix.
© NetflixAfter quitting her job as an advertising copywriter, she traveled to NYC, studied YouTube videos and never gave up on her dream of being a stand up, even though that is not as popular in Mexican culture as it is in American culture. Sofia was a featured guest on Conan O’Brien and did a stand up routine completely in Spanish.
