If there’s one fabric Kylie Jenner refuses to retire, it’s latex. From barely-there bikinis to plunging bodycon dresses and skintight minidresses, the beauty mogul has made glossy PVC a signature, not a phase. And as 2026 unfolds, Jenner’s obsession with latex is evolving into a full-blown fashion thesis.
Most recently, Jenner set social media buzzing after stepping out in a sleek black latex dress while posing with Charli XCX and filmmaker Aidan Zamiri for photos tied to the upcoming A24 mockumentary 'The Moment.'
The fitted look, featuring a deep halter neckline and ruched texture, hugged her curves flawlessly, another reminder that when Kylie wears black, especially in latex, it rarely misses.
The images quickly went viral, reinforcing one of her hottest trends. The look echoed her long-running preference for sculptural silhouettes that emphasize confidence as much as curves.
Latex has also become central to Jenner’s branding. While teasing the release of Kylie Cosmetics’ Cosmic Intense fragrance, she appeared dressed like the perfume bottle itself, drenched in shiny red PVC.
In a January 18 Instagram post, she wrote, “Same universe, more vanilla." The plunging red halterneck latex dress dipped dramatically toward her ribs, clinging from head to toe in reflective rubber.
Rocking a voluminous hairstyle and floral earrings, the look leaned fully into retro bombshell glamour. Her makeup stayed monochromatic, with peachy flush tones and a smoky brown eye dusted with iridescent shimmer.
Jenner has never been subtle about her devotion to latex. In a previous Dazed interview, she shut down any speculation that her bold style had softened.
“The baddie never left. I wear a latex dress at least once a week. People saw me in a flowy dress once in my life, and they were like, ‘She’s gone!’ I wore a sundress once in Palm Springs, you know—like, can a girl wear a sundress once?” she said.
That commitment has shown up everywhere, from ultra-tight latex minidresses worn out in Los Angeles to holiday-ready red looks shared with sister Kim. It’s also deeply woven into her fashion ventures, including her collaborations with Poster Girl and her own label, Khy.
Promoting one latex-heavy collection, Jenner joked about its versatility, saying she’d wear the pieces anywhere, including school pickup. While the comment sparked mixed reactions online, it underscored her belief that sexiness and motherhood aren’t mutually exclusive.
She later explained her love for the designs, sharing, “What I love most about this collection is how it makes me feel. It’s our sexiest collection yet. We have the best latex, and I fell in love with the Poster Girl dresses because they’re so thin and comfortable. They make me feel happy and confident.”
From her King Kylie era pink wigs and pastel latex dresses to today’s high-gloss red and black statements, Jenner’s relationship with latex is not just a trend cycle.
