Mexican designer Alexia María debuts 'A Year of Elegance' - Her timeless 2026 collection

In a world where fashion has become increasingly casual, and trend cycles move faster than ever, Alexia María is choosing a different pace, one rooted in glamour. Earlier this month, she released a new collection that blends nostalgia with intentional style, offering timeless looks meant to live beyond a single season.

Her 2026 collection, A Year of Elegance, was presented during an intimate evening in New York at 16 Fifth Avenue, Manhattan’s newest luxury residence designed by the legendary architect Robert A.M. Stern. The celebration, titled 'A Night of Elegance', was co-hosted by fashion and beauty entrepreneur Olivia Palermo, who wore the new line, styled with a pearl necklace that further complemented its classy, timeless style.

Alexia, known for sculptural silhouettes, refined femininity, and her signature bows, has built a loyal following among women who dress with intention, and her client list reflects that vision. The Mexican designer has dressed Paris Hilton, Ariana Grande, America Ferrera, Hilary Duff, Gwen Stefani, and, more recently, Nadia Ferreira, who wore a gown by her to ¡HOLA! Latina Powerhouse gala in Miami.

For the 2026 line, bows remain at the heart of the collection, not simply as decoration, but as her design signature that adds softness, structure, and romance. The result is a set of modern and elegant pieces that hold their own across seasons, occasions, and years. Alexia María shared the inspiration behind the collection and the mission that has always guided her work. “I’ve always designed for the women in my life, elegant, graceful, and endlessly inspiring."

At the event, guests stepped into the world of Alexia María, where they enjoyed bowtinis and music and previewed select pieces from the collection displayed on dress forms throughout the residence, turning the evening into an exhibition of craftsmanship. 

The guest list included fashion, media, and tastemakers such as Tracy Anderson, Mary Leest, and Samantha Barry, alongside close friends of the brand and longtime Alexia María women, many dressed in looks from past and present collections. The designer dedicated the night to all of them.
