Vera Wang appears to be aging backwards, and her Christmas photos prove it. The legendary fashion designer, 76, looked youthful in her glamorous holiday portrait, in which she posed in her label's couture bridal gown.
Photographed by Till Janz, Vera became the ultimate Christmas queen as she donned a white strapless dress, which featured a massive skirt, that matched the stunning festive trees and wrapped presents in the background. Vera captioned the beautiful shot, which she posted on Instagram on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, with, "MERRY CHRISTMAS to ALL" on the image"
The following day, on December 25th, she shared a set of photo in the beach wearing a hat by Rodney Patterson. The designer captioned the post, "XMAS 🎄 DAY 2025! Trying to keep a lid on it …😎HAPPINESS.. hosting a houseful..🙂🙃 … a bit of a MADHATTER moment…a BEACH version of THE CAT IN THE HAT PALM BEACH style!"
The fashion icon, who in previous years posted stunning at-home shots with her children, did not stop there when it came to showcasing her young appearance. In a photo shared to her personal Instagram account, Vera, who has celebrated Christmas in Miami, Florida, with her daughters, Cecilia Becker, 35, and 32-year-old Josephine Becker, for years, slipped into a sleeveless, tight-fitting brown dress and sported black pointed-toe heels.
Vera, who shares children with her 75-year-old ex-husband, Zinio CEO Arthur P. Becker, let her brown locks flow as she adorned her hair with black barrettes. Posing with a loved one, Vera captioned the post with, "MORE GIRLtime ….xmas time! 🎄❤️💚🙏😌"
In 2023, the star, who celebrated her 76th birthday with a party in Paris, France, on June 27, shared her beauty and wellness secrets with Page Six Style. She told the publication that she aims to get a "minimum [of] eight [hours a night]" because Vera "[doesn't] feel healthy unless I get eight."
Vera, who initially pursued a career in figure skating before transitioning to fashion, credits her job for keeping her young. The fashionista, who got her start working for Walmart, before being hired as Vogue's youngest editor upon her graduation from Sarah Lawrence College in 1970, before she left in 1987 to join Ralph Lauren, said, "I've worked my whole life, so it's really been about work. I think work keeps you young and stimulated … I work very long hours, I’ve raised two daughters. I think keeping busy is the best antidote [for] good health."
Another is her diet, a balance of junk and healthy food. Vera, who left Ralph Lauren in 1989, and at 40, resigned and launched her independent bridal gown boutique in 1990, said, "I do eat McDonald’s, absolutely. I order it every day, like two weeks on it, and then I’ll change! I like sashimi with brown rice and vegetables, Chinese steamed broccoli with chicken and rice, or the artichoke salad or fish from Sant Ambreous [in Manhattan]."
"Maybe it’s because I’m Asian, but I’ve always been pretty minimal … Soap, some cleanser, but I don’t do 18 steps! I know that’s the thing to do now, but it’s never been a part of my regime."
Exercising and carefully maintaining her mental health are other reasons for her youthful look. Vera, who is an avid cyclist, said, "I’m sort of very balanced in terms of my health, hopefully. I work very hard at that, towards mental health as well as physical health, so those are important things."
Also in 2023, Vera told Elle that avoiding the sun is essential for her. But ultimately, the star, who also loves a long soak in the tub, says authenticity is a good attitude to have when it comes to aging. In 2022, she told the BBC, "I never thought about going way out of my way to preserve my youth in a fanatical, obsessive way."
