This summer, Kaia Gerber has mastered a wardrobe formula that blends retro charm with a contemporary twist, consisting of the perfect dress, ballet flats, and just the right amount of minimal accessories. Whether stepping onto the red carpet or hosting a book club soirée, the 23-year-old model and actress proves summer is her season.
On a recent special appearance, Kaia opened the doors of Villa Albertine in New York City to celebrate French literature at an event for her book club, Library Science. Surrounded by friends, family, and fellow readers, Kaia hosted the event dressed in a sultry black halter midi dress featuring a plunging neckline and a backless silhouette.
The 90s-inspired dress also featured a mesh overlay and a chiffon finish. The model kept the styling simple, pairing the look with her mocha-toned Camille flats by Repetto featuring a three-centimeter block heel and rounded toe.
She finished the look with hoop earrings, a chainlink necklace, and her signature loose waves. Just weeks earlier, she wore a similarly eye-catching red halter dress dotted with tiny white polka dots to the Tribeca Film Festival, where she supported Camila Morrone at the premiere of 'Gonzo Girl.'
The vintage-inspired piece came from The Vintage Twin and featured a handkerchief hem, V-neckline, and a 1950s silhouette. Again, Repetto's Camille flats made an appearance, this time in ivory Swan Beige, tied neatly with a delicate bow.
She accessorized with an oversized gold hoop, a thin gold necklace, and carried a sleek black shoulder bag. Back in April, Kaia was also seen in another LBD at the Broadway premiere of 'Good Night, And Good Luck,' accompanied by parents Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford.
This time, her dress came from Givenchy’s Fall 2025 collection, featuring a high neckline and structured silhouette. Instead of her usual Camilles, she chose Repetto’s Laurine pumps, similarly low-heeled but without the chunky block heel.
