Princess Diana’s niece Lady Kitty Spencer and daughter Athena match in looks by Kitty’s wedding dress designer

Mom's mini-me! Lady Kitty Spencer and her daughter Athena were twinning in Dolce & Gabbana outfits while in Florence and Pisa. Princess Diana's 34-year-old niece shared a carousel of photos from their Italian holiday on July 24, including pictures of herself and her two year old in matching printed dresses from the Italian fashion house. 

Kitty also shared pictures of a purple car that complemented their purple and white dresses, as well as photos from their visit to Villa Mangiacane.

"Under the Tuscan sun 🍇 Purple is Athena’s favourite colour at the moment, so the Fiat 500 was a hit! 💜," she captioned the post.

Italy is a special place for Kitty, who is the eldest child of Princess Diana's brother, Charles Spencer. It's where she married her husband Michael Lewis in 2021. The couple tied the knot in a lavish wedding at Villa Aldobrandini. Kitty has previously told The Standard  “the love and passion I feel for life is ignited in Italy.” 

For her wedding celebration, the bride wore hand-made Dolce & Gabbana gowns. "One of the inspirations is definitely her love for Italy. Kitty is in love with our beautiful country and its rich history, art and culture," designer Domenico Dolce previously told Tatler. Stefano Gabbana added, "But she is also a girl who is very attached to her origins, to England; to her heritage of the great Victorian era. And like all the English people, she has a great passion for all kinds of flowers."

Kitty was named a global ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana back in February 2021. "I am truly honored to be appointed as Global Ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana. Domenico and Stefano celebrate life’s wonders; family, joy, beauty, colour and love.
