While Demi Moore was not able to walk the blue carpet of the 2025 Met Gala with her furry friend, famously known for his special appearances next to the actress, the pair had a stylish moment together before the event. The 'Substance' star and her chihuahua, Pilaf, posed for photos in matching over-the-top looks.
The duo still managed to steal the spotlight with an adorable matching moment that won over fans. The pup showed off his modeling skills, being included in the Met Gala action. Demi was styled by Brad Goreski and arrived in a striking black-and-white sequined gown from Thom Browne.
The custom design was created to resemble an oversized necktie, perfectly complementing the theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” Demi and Pilaf seem to be happy together, with the pup wearing his very own mini version of the necktie, making for a heartwarming "mommy and me" moment.
"Mommy and me matching before #Metmonday!! Thank you ofc to team Thommy for my micro tie!" Demi wrote on Pilaf’s Instagram page, revealing that the brand created a second look, just for her adorable dog.
The photos showcased the duo’s coordinated looks. The gown featured a sculptural design that wrapped around her head and was embellished with an impressive 1.4 million beads.
The gown took over 7,600 hours to create, according to Vogue. Despite Pilaf not being at the gala, the pup has become a regular companion on the red carpet, often making an appearance by Demi's side at various events.
Fans were quick to comment on the precious moment. “Little mouse, I felt your absence on the red carpet!” one person wrote, while someone else commented, “You’re the most iconic and sweetest duo on the whole planet! ” adding, “Question is: Who wore it better? You or Mommy?"
