Jaden Smith is making headlines for another fashion moment. The singer wore a head-turning ensemble at the 2025 Met Gala, held on May 5 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This year's theme, "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," celebrated Black dandyism and its influence on menswear.
Jaden's elegant look was a striking interpretation of the theme, combining classic tailoring with avant-garde elements. The actor and musician stepped out in a tailored black suit by Ozwald Boateng, featuring satin lapels, paired with a black shirt and tie.
Over his shoulders, he draped a black-and-white checkered shawl, featuring a touch of pattern to the monochromatic look. He completed the look with shiny black platform loafers, adding to the sleek silhouette.
However, it was his headpiece that stole the show. Jaden wore an intricate wire design that looped around his hair and face, which was on brand with his bold fashion choices, including his headpiece at the Grammys in February, where he rocked a castle-shaped headpiece.
Last year, Jaden attended the exclusive event with his sister, Willow Smith. The pair are known for their stunning fashion moments, and while Willow did not attend this year, she celebrated the Met Gala at an event in NYC over the weekend, where she posed with Miley Cyrus following her performance.
Jaden continues to steal the spotlight in the fashion world, as he is a familiar face at multiple events, including Paris Fashion Week. The singer's first attendance at the Met Gala dates back to 2016, so we can expect to see more of his incredible ensembles in the future.
Co-chaired by Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and Anna Wintour, this year's Met Gala featured a host committee including Simone Biles, Regina King, Spike Lee, Usher, and Angel Reese.
The event showcased different interpretations of the "Tailored for You" dress code, with celebrities and A-list stars showing off their best looks, including Rihanna, Zendaya, Jenna Ortega, Sabrina Carpenter, Kim Kardashian, and many more.
