How to Livestream the Met Gala

The 2025 Met Gala livestream kicks off on Monday, May 5, at 5:30 p.m. ET on Vogue’s YouTube channel and Vogue.com. It’s a free, global broadcast, so viewers across Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, and beyond can enjoy the fun without cable or a VPN.

Who’s hosting the 2025 Met Gala live stream?

The official livestream will be hosted by Teyana Taylor, La La Anthony, and Ego Nwodim. They'll be handling all the fashion, surprises, and celebrity arrivals. 

YouTuber Emma Chamberlain will also return as Vogue’s special correspondent.

What to expect from the 2025 Met Gala

This year’s Met Gala is already shaping up to be historic. For the first time ever, all four co-chairs - Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams - are Black men. The theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” will explore the legacy of Black men in fashion, celebrating sharp tailoring, resistance through style, and cultural storytelling.

The exhibition takes inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s Slaves to Fashion and will spotlight the Black dandy and how fashion has served as both armor and art.

The guest list is famously secretive, but names are already trickling out.

Expected attendees include:

• Shakira, returning after her 2024 debut
• Zendaya, but without Law Roach
• Rachel Zegler, attending for the first time
• Lizzo, Mary J. Blige, Amelia Gray, Ashley Graham, and rising basketball star Paige Bueckers

Skipping this year:

•  Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds will not be attending 
•  Gisele Bündchen, who reportedly turned down her invite
• JFK's grandson, Jack Schlossberg, is leading a boycott and also won't be there

The 2025 host committee

This year’s host committee is just as star-studded as the guest list, with athletes like Sha’Carri Richardson, Simone Biles, and Angel Reese; musicians including Usher, Doechii, Janelle Monáe, Tyla, and André 3000; and filmmakers like Spike Lee, Regina King, and Tonya Lewis Lee.

You’ll also see big names across fashion and the arts: Ayo Edebiri, Jeremy Pope, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Dapper Dan, Edward Enninful, Olivier Rousteing, and more.

Basically: don’t miss this one. It's sure to be a celebration of style, legacy, and Black cultural influence like never before.
