Katie Holmes wore backwards button-down in Paris: Did she start a new trend?

Katie Holmes continues to make headlines for her casual yet stylish looks. This time, the Broadway star stepped out in Paris, where she attended Patou's fall 2025 runway show as part of Paris Fashion Week.

Katie was all smiles during her latest outing where she turned heads, not just for her glamorous makeup look, which included a pink lip, but also for her ensemble, as she wore a blue striped shirt backward.

The actress wore the shirt with the collar popped in front and buttoned from behind. She paired the look with brown wide-leg trousers and a stunning leather trench coat over her shoulders.

She accessorized with a navy blue purse, gold statement earrings, and blue-and-white polka-dot block heels. Katie showed off her honey-blond highlights in loose waves and posed for photos at the event.

She stepped out in a cozy and layered ensemble, which consisted of a white top, a taupe sweater, and a plaid flannel. She paired the look with baggy jeans and white sneakers.

The star completed the look with a gray beanie, dark sunglasses, and a green tote bag. She rocked a soft glam makeup look, including a cherry red lip, and smiled for the paparazzi who photographed her while walking around the city after a coffee run.

Katie recently talked about her approach when it comes to winter fashion. "In the winter months [my outfit formula] is usually based on more, and the double layer," she told InStyle in December. "So for now, it's a lot of pants that I can put yoga pants underneath and cozy sweaters and just try to have some sort of balance to it," she said to the publication.
