Pastels aren't just for spring! One of our faves this season is lavender – rebranded as millennial purple – which is soft, beautiful and oozes luxury. It's a shade that can be worn beautifully with neutrals like white, black and grey, or mixed it up with deeper shades in the same palette as we saw at Sally LaPointe.

This warm tone was seen all over NYFW! Oscar de la Renta wowed us with this beautiful orange dress in the fabric of the season – velvet. It can be paired with earthy browns and mustards, or for modern contrast, a deep red or ocean blue. It’s all up to your personal style!

In line with the denim trend, this shade of blue is going strong this season. There is a big trend for rocking spring-like colors for the colder season, so, like the many pastels we saw on the catwalk, this powdery blue tone will carry you right through next season and beyond!

Mint green is a sophisticated tone that can add a pop of color to muted outfits. Pair it with light browns and greys, or go full on bright by combining with pastel yellows or pinks.

The ultimate neutral this season, nude was seen on many a catwalk, including on the runway of Dior, where we spotted this evening gown worn over shorts. The sheer organza trend is also infused into the dress, using nude and black to stunning effect.

If you want to stand out in a crowd, you can't miss with neon! Highlighter hues are back and bolder than ever, and are great to team with neutral shades or black. If you're not ready to commit to head-to-toe brights, opt for using neon as an accent color on a jacket or dress for a more subtle nod to the trend.
