Calle will be sharing the screen with a star-studded ensemble including Scarlett Johansson, Laurence Fishburne, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Diane Lane, and Jacobi Jupe.

Unlike the 2023 film 'The Exorcist: Believer,' Flanagan’s new installment will tell a completely original story within the franchise, offering both the director and his cast a fresh canvas for horror.

Sasha Calle's inspiring journey:

Before joining one of the most iconic horror franchises of all time, Sasha Calle’s path in Hollywood has been marked by determination, talent, and a deep connection to her Colombian roots.

She initially moved to Los Angeles to pursue music, training extensively in singing, acting, and dancing. “That training accepted me, and I was ready to go in,” she revealed to ¡HOLA!

Music remains a passion, she says, but acting quickly pulled her in. “With acting, it was very interesting… I just felt like it grabbed me and pulled me in like a lasso, like Wonder Woman just flicked me. I was like, okay, I embrace you.”

Reflecting on her journey, Calle emphasized the importance of opportunity and representation. “A lot of people paved the way for us," she said during the interview. "And I’m really grateful to be in this space with the actors that are in the rooms who are treating us as equals and are welcoming us into that space with respect and love and kindness,” she said, while talking about her latest Netflix movie, 'The Rip.'
