Anyone who hoped to one day host the Grammy Awards is going to have to convince the recording academy to stop hiring the hilarious Trevor Noah. The Grammy-nominated comedian is returning to host the 67th annual event for the fifth consecutive year.

Noah, who is also nominated for Best Comedy Album, will not only be stepping in as master of ceremonies, but he will also serve as a producer, per The Wrap. "As host and GRAMMY nominee, Trevor Noah will guide a special night that not only celebrates the year in music but also raises funds for wildfire relief, pays tribute to first responders, and honors the resilient spirit of Los Angeles," the academy wrote on Instagram with the announcement.

When are the GRAMMYS, and how to watch them?

The 2025 ceremony returns to LA’s Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, February 2, from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. PT.

The show will air on CBS and stream live for Paramount+ subscribers with Showtime and be available on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the following day.

How the ceremony is handling the LA Fires

With the ongoing fires in Los Angeles that resulted in, at one point, close to 200,000 people under evacuation orders, the fate of the GRAMMYS seemed up in the air. With the Hurst and Eaton Fire still not 100% contained and over 12,000 structures destroyed, the show will still go on, with CBS aiming to give back.

CBS shared that the telecast will carry “a renewed sense of purpose,” raising funds for wildfire relief while honoring the first responders who jumped into action.

Plus, the Recording Academy and MusiCares launched the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort with $1 million to help music creatives affected by the fires. Since then, the fund has grown, distributing over $2 million in emergency aid, per The Wrap.
