Mean Girls Day has officially arrived, and Lindsay Lohan is making sure fans celebrate it the right way.

The actress reunited with some familiar faces and recreated one of the movie’s most memorable moments as fans once again marked Oct. 3, the unofficial holiday inspired by the 2004 teen comedy.

Lindsay Lohan Brings Back The Oct. 3 Moment

In the movie, Lohan’s Cady Heron is sitting behind her crush, Aaron Samuels, played by Jonathan Bennett, when he turns around during class and asks her what day it is.

Her response? “It’s October 3rd.”

Two decades later, the line has become one of the film’s most recognizable quotes, and Lohan decided to recreate the scene for Mean Girls Day.

In a video shared Saturday on X, Lohan sat at a desk behind “her crush,” although Bennett was replaced this time by director Mark Waters.

As audio from the original movie played, Lohan delivered Cady’s famous response: “It’s Oct. 3.”

She and Waters then broke character and laughed. The reunion was especially fitting considering Lohan and Waters recently announced that they’re teaming up again.

Lohan And Mark Waters Are Reuniting For A New Movie

The Mean Girls Day video comes shortly after news broke that Lohan and Waters are officially working together again.

The pair will reunite for Netflix’s upcoming romantic comedy Return to You, which will also star Henry Golding of Crazy Rich Asians.

Lohan is set to play a “powerful but lonely attorney” who accidentally receives an emotional DVD intended for a dying woman’s husband. So while Lohan and Waters were having some fun with their Mean Girls history, they were also celebrating their next big collaboration.

Jonathan Bennett Gets In On The Fun

Bennett also found a way to celebrate Mean Girls Day.

While on the set of Good Morning America, the actor shared a video on Instagram in which he walked toward the camera and simply asked, “What day is it?”

The real joke was in the caption.

“How many people can I get to answer me for Mean Girls Day?” Bennett wrote, prompting plenty of fans to respond with Cady’s famous line.

Tim Meadows Has A Regina George Reminder

Tim Meadows, who played Principal Ron Duvall in Mean Girls, went a little further with his tribute.

In a TikTok, Meadows looked directly into the camera and took on a much more serious tone.

“Sometimes it’s not easy to admit when you need help,” he said, before revealing that he was supposedly still dealing with the trauma of Regina George.

“Every Oct. 3 is a reminder of her — Regina George,” he joked.

And naturally, the Mean Girls Day fun didn’t stop there.

Even A Personal Injury Lawyer Joined In

Michigan personal injury attorney Mike Morse also jumped into the festivities with a Mean Girls-inspired video.

Morse joked that anyone who has “ever felt personally victimized” by Rachel McAdams’ Regina George “may be entitled to compensation.”

At this point, Oct. 3 may be unofficial, but the Mean Girls Day celebrations are clearly very real.
