Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have expanded their family once again. The "Stranger Things" star, 22, and her husband, 24, have welcomed their second child through adoption, a source confirmed to People on Thursday, September 17.
The news comes just over a year after the couple became parents for the first time, welcoming a baby girl through adoption in the summer of 2025.
While Brown and Bongiovi have yet to publicly announce their newest addition, fans may have already caught a glimpse of their growing family.
A clue from their Italian getaway:
Earlier this month, Brown shared a look inside the family's picturesque vacation in the Dolomites, Italy. In a video posted to Instagram on September 7, the actress could be seen carrying her daughter while walking alongside an alpaca.
Bongiovi appeared next to her with what looked like another baby strapped to his chest in a carrier, though the child was obscured from view.
At the time, Brown simply captioned the post, "Different in the Dolomites," without addressing the apparent new addition to the family.
The couple has remained fiercely protective of their children's privacy. Brown and Bongiovi have not publicly revealed the name of their first daughter, and representatives for the couple had not commented on the report of their second adoption at the time.
Millie's lifelong dream of adoption:
Adoption has long been part of Brown's vision for her future family.
The actress opened up about the decision earlier this year, explaining on Kylie Kelce's "Not Gonna Lie" podcast that adopting children had been part of her dream since childhood.
She recalled playing with baby dolls as a little girl and imagining that they had all been adopted. Brown also made clear that choosing adoption did not mean she had ruled out carrying a child herself in the future.
"Adoption is love, adoption is forever," she said during the interview.
She later reflected on the emotional process of becoming a mother during an appearance on Jay Shetty's "On Purpose" podcast, describing the phone call confirming that she and Bongiovi had been selected to become their daughter's parents as "the most surreal feeling."
Their first year as parents:
Brown and Bongiovi announced the arrival of their first child in August 2025, revealing that they had welcomed a baby girl through adoption that summer.
The couple said they were excited to begin the next chapter of their lives while doing so "in both peace and privacy," ending their announcement with, "And then there were 3."
Since then, Brown has occasionally offered carefully selected glimpses into motherhood without revealing her daughter's identity.
The couple's latest addition comes more than two years after Brown and Bongiovi tied the knot. The pair, who began dating in 2021, married in 2024 before celebrating with a larger wedding ceremony in Italy. Now, their family of three has quietly become a family of four.
