When it comes to hunting down vintage treasures, Kendall Jenner is in a class of her own. She and her older sisters have all proved they own an impressive collection of archival pieces that are pure gold for fashion lovers. And her big debut at the 2026 Venice Film Festival was no exception.

The global fragrance ambassador for Emporio Armani turned heads at the premiere of Wild Horse Nine, the new comedy drama from director Martin McDonagh, wearing a metallic floral dress pulled from the Giorgio Armani archives.

The gown hails from the Fall-Winter 1995 collection: a slightly flared slip dress, completely embroidered with floral motifs in a golden tone and covered in iridescent clear sequins. The silhouette instantly takes us back to the sensual yet minimalist style of the supermodels of the 1990s.

Kendall Jenner finished the look with beige sandals, tiny diamond earrings, and her hair worn down, sleek, and straight with softly defined ends.

And while her debut at the exclusive Film Festival caused a sensation, her fashion parade didn’t stop there. The very next day she was spotted out in the canal-lined city in a second look, taking advantage of her time in Venice to pay tribute to an iconic local figure with a style moment that stepped away from the minimalism we’ve come to expect from her.

The star piece? Sunglasses inspired by the unmistakable glasses worn by Peggy Guggenheim, whose passion for art found its perfect stage in Venice. The American collector, patron, and socialite made the city her home and played a crucial role in elevating its cultural and artistic life, while also becoming one of the great style icons of her time.

With an irreverent spirit and a vision ahead of her time, she crafted an image as eccentric as it was sophisticated, on display both at the parties she hosted and during her strolls along the Venetian canals. Among her most recognizable accessories were her spectacular glasses, surrealist-inspired pieces with butterfly or bat-shaped frames that her friend, artist Edward Melcarth, designed especially for her in the 1950s.

And now, more than 40 years later, Kendall Jenner has brought them back, pairing them with a velvet poncho, straight-leg jeans, her signature ballet flats, and a The Row handbag holding four red roses.
