Jennifer Lopez is reuniting with Emme shortly after one of their most emotional moments as a family. Earlier this summer, Lopez's kids graduated from high school, with both preparing for their college careers. In new photos taken in New York City, Lopez and Emme were photographed on a brunch outing, showcasing their trademark styles and preparing for a new era.

Both sported baggy clothes for the occasion, with Lopez pairing baggy jeans with a button-up shirt of a matching tone, completing the look with some sunglasses and a Bottega Veneta bag. She completed the look with her hair styled straight.
In the case of Emme, they wore baggy jeans, green sneakers, and a baggy cream colored shirt.

"They all got into all five colleges that they applied to. They both got a scholarship to each, you know, one scholarship to each. Each one got a scholarship to a school. And I just felt like they work so hard."
According to different reports, Emme will be attending Sarah Lawrence College in New York City, likely prompting more visits from their mom, who, while based in Los Angeles, is a frequent sight in the city. Emme is reportedly studying theater, with the school beginning the fall term on September 7th.

© @jloOver the years, Emme has joined their mom on numerous occasions, including some of her movie premieres. But their passion is clearly the theater, with Emme joining Lopez on numerous plays in New York City.
At the premiere of "Othello," Lopez and Emme were photographed together on their way to the Barrymore Theater. "I have the most amazing date for the black-tie premiere of 'Othello.' Super excited. Here we go," wrote Lopez on a social media post at the time.
Lopez also explained that musical theater and Broadway shows played a key role in her development as an artist. "When I grew up, I grew up singing musicals... because I loved musicals," she said in an interview with "Good Morning America." "And I remember going to my first Broadway show, and it was how I learned to sing. And so that’s kind of how I trained my own voice.”
