Andre Agassi shared a rare glimpse of his 22-year-old daughter, Jaz, as she joined him at the US Open’s Fan Week in New York. The father-daughter duo were photographed sharing a sweet hug backstage before Agassi returned to the court for a star-studded exhibition match.

Agassi kept things casual in a gray hoodie and jeans, while Jaz wore a strapless orange crop top and jeans as she cheered on her dad behind the scenes.

Agassi shares Jaz and son Jaden Gil with fellow tennis great Steffi Graf. Despite their remarkable careers on the court, Agassi and Graf chose not to push their children to follow in their footsteps.

“Tennis? Honestly, I think we’ve had enough,” Agassi told Fox Sports. “It’s a peculiar sport. We don’t see many second-generation players. For us, it’s about raising our kids in a way that allows us to share in their lives rather than constantly worrying about them.”

Andre previously shared a sweet photo of his daughter Jaz on social media.

What Happened During the US Open Fan Week Exhibition Match?

Agassi teamed up with Andy Roddick to face Roger Federer and John McEnroe in a lighthearted doubles match at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.

Federer, who retired from professional tennis in 2022, and McEnroe ultimately won 7-5, giving fans a rare chance to see the Swiss great back on court in New York.

Federer also reflected on the early years of his relationship with the tournament and the city.

“In 2004 and 2005... that’s where it all started for me here, my love for New York because of the victories I had at this place,” he said, according to the ATP.

“I fell in love with this city and this court from day one,” Federer continued. “I think my first time on center court was against Andre [in 2001]. He crushed me: 6-1, 6-2, 6-4. I had no chance. I thought, ‘Okay, it’s not that easy. Slow down, Roger.’”

Federer was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame on August 29, and Agassi was there to celebrate the milestone.

“How great is it that this guy is going into the Hall of Fame this year? Well done, Roger,” Agassi said. “I’m incredibly excited.”

Roger Federer reflected on his longtime connection to New York after returning to the US Open court.

He also couldn’t resist a joke about Federer’s Hall of Fame credentials.

“I have to say, I think I was the first person to know he was going to make the Hall of Fame,” Agassi quipped. “When he won his 19th Grand Slam, I thought, ‘Yeah, he’s got it locked up.’”
