Amal Clooney brought a touch of bridal-inspired glamour to the shores of Lake Como during an elegant evening out with her husband, George Clooney.
The human rights lawyer was photographed arriving by boat at Villa Passalacqua in Moltrasio, Italy, on August 20. Looking effortlessly sophisticated, Amal stepped onto the dock wearing a slinky white floor-length dress that beautifully complemented the dreamy lakeside setting.
Her romantic design featured delicate spaghetti straps, a softly draped neckline and a figure-skimming silhouette that flowed into a subtly flared hem. The minimalist gown offered a fresh take on Amal’s signature evening style, balancing understated elegance with undeniable impact.
Adding to the bridal feel of the moment, the 48-year-old carried a small arrangement of white flowers as she made her way into the historic property. She was also seen playfully lifting the blooms toward her face while chatting with those around her.
Amal completed her monochromatic ensemble with metallic silver heels and a small black handbag decorated with sparkling floral embellishments.
She wore her long brunette hair down in loose, voluminous waves, while a luminous beauty look and statement earrings delivered the finishing touches.
George, meanwhile, embraced a more relaxed interpretation of summer dressing. The actor coordinated with his wife in a fitted white T-shirt and pale trousers, completing his casual ensemble with light-colored shoes and tinted glasses.
The couple appeared in good spirits as they walked side by side after disembarking from their boat. Although Amal’s ethereal outfit and the flowers created an almost wedding-like visual, the pair were simply pictured arriving at Villa Passalacqua during their latest stay in Lake Como.
The celebrated 18th-century estate sits directly on the shores of the lake and is known for its elaborate gardens, historic interiors and sweeping views of the water. Its romantic surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for Amal’s dreamy all-white fashion moment.
Lake Como holds a particularly meaningful place in George and Amal’s love story. George has owned his famous Italian residence, Villa Oleandra, for decades, and the couple has regularly spent time in the region since marrying in 2014.
More than a decade after their lavish Venice wedding, Amal proved she can still evoke bridal glamour with the simplest combination. A silky white dress, a handful of delicate flowers, and George by her side.
