Hailey Bieber once again proved that no one does effortless model-off-duty glamour quite like she does.

Just hours after attending the FIFA World Cup final festivities and cheering on husband Justin Bieber following his halftime performance, the Rhode founder stepped out for a romantic dinner date at New York's The Corner Store wearing one of the season's most talked-about fashion trends: underwear as outerwear.

The 29-year-old model reached into fashion history for the occasion, choosing an archival Christian Dior mini slip dress from John Galliano's celebrated Fall/Winter 2005 collection.

The vintage silk jacquard design featured a rich burgundy floral pattern, delicate lace trims along the neckline and hem, and a lingerie-inspired silhouette that has become one of summer 2026's defining looks.

Rather than overwhelming the rare vintage piece with accessories, Hailey kept the styling refreshingly minimal. She paired the dress with black thong kitten-heel sandals, a structured croc-effect black clutch, and slim rectangular sunglasses that added her signature '90s-inspired cool factor.

Her beauty look embraced the same understated aesthetic. Hailey wore her freshly cut shoulder-length brunette bob in loose, softly textured waves with a center part, while glowing skin, rosy cheeks, softly defined eyes, and glossy nude-pink lips let the archival Dior dress remain the evening's focal point.

One unexpected detail stole the spotlight, a bright cobalt blue manicure, adding a playful pop of color against the deep burgundy ensemble. Several fashion observers also noted the manicure's resemblance to Argentina's iconic blue tones following the World Cup celebrations.

Hailey Bieber keeps championing the underwear-as-outerwear trend:

Slip dresses inspired by lingerie continue to dominate celebrity wardrobes, but Hailey's archival Galliano piece elevated the trend with an unmistakably fashion-insider twist.

Rather than opting for a contemporary interpretation, she turned to one of Dior's most collectible early-2000s designs, reinforcing her reputation as one of Hollywood's biggest champions of vintage luxury.

The look also reflects fashion's ongoing fascination with "nightiecore," where delicate lace, silk slips, and lingerie-inspired silhouettes move beyond the bedroom into sophisticated evening dressing.

Hailey has become one of the trend's strongest ambassadors, frequently mixing archival designer finds with minimalist accessories to create outfits that feel both nostalgic and undeniably modern.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber stayed true to his oversized streetwear aesthetic, wearing a white speckled hoodie layered over a green T-shirt, ultra-baggy cuffed jeans, sneakers, and slim black sunglasses, a sharp contrast to Hailey's polished vintage elegance.

The couple's famously opposite fashion personalities have become part of their signature appeal, proving once again that coordinated style isn't necessary to make a memorable entrance.
