The 41-year-old songstress shared a carousel of personal photos on Instagram that included sweet moments with her gator guy. There was a black-and-white beach video at the Santa Monica pier, a cozy family mirror selfie, and snapshots from their patriartic fourth of July party.

While Del Rey typically keeps her relationship with Dufrene out of the spotlight, the collection offered one of her most personal glimpses into their life together since the pair quietly married in September 2024.

The rare photos accompanied an emotional message revealing that she's preparing to release not one, but two new albums after spending years navigating creative uncertainty.

"So much has happened over the last four years, so much time waiting for things to come together and so much time wondering if it was ok that things were falling apart," Del Rey wrote. "Patience was the key."

She revealed the first project, Stove, is the record fans have already gotten a taste of during recent performances, describing it as "a classic album" that has finally come together after years of work.

"Stove is so lovely and intact as it was intended to be—a classic album, if I may say, a lot of which we've toured, and you've heard—but not all of it," she wrote.

But the singer also surprised fans by announcing a second companion album, explaining that it grew out of the same period in her life. "And as the years went by, came a beautiful, secondary album," she continued, calling it "a commentary" on the patience, doubt, hope, and trust that shaped the past several years.

Del Rey said both projects are nearly complete and only need another month before they're ready to be sent to vinyl. "I need a month to finish putting it together, and then send my two albums to vinyl," she shared. "It certainly is two of my most beautiful pieces of work."

The heartfelt post also reflects how much her personal life has changed since meeting Dufrene. The Louisiana airboat captain first crossed paths with Del Rey years before they began dating, when she took one of his swamp tours in 2019 and jokingly wrote that he had let her captain the boat.

Romance rumors didn't emerge until the summer of 2024 after the pair were spotted together in Louisiana and later holding hands at England's Leeds Festival.

They made their public debut at model Karen Elson's wedding in New York before tying the knot just weeks later in Des Allemands, Louisiana.

Since then, Del Rey has kept their marriage largely out of the public eye, which isn't too surprising considering the amount of unsolicited comments she got about the relationship.

Closing out her message, Del Rey thanked those who have stayed with her through the lengthy creative process. "I wrote about it. Now it's time to trust the process and go downstream," she wrote. "I'm so grateful to everyone who's still on board with me."
