Nina Dobrev debuts handsome new boyfriend following Shaun White split

Nina Dobrev has a new boyfriend. The actress is debuting her first public relationship since her split from Shaun White, the Olympian snowboarder. Earlier this week, she was photographed alongside the model Dougie Jones, looking happy and in love.

Dobrev and Jones were seen in New York City. The two were seen holding on to each other as they enjoyed their walk through the city. For the outing, Dobrev wore a silk blue dress that she paired with a matching cap and a white sweater draped over her shoulders. 

She completed the look with cream flats and some sunglasses. In the case of Jones, he wore a white t-shirt, a green cap, and blue pants. 

The two walked comfortably together, with Jones kissing Dobrev's cheek. They were walking an adorable dog.

Jones and Dobrev have yet to address their romance with the public, but were first spotted together in New York at a celebration for the New York Knicks, with their hands in each other's back pockets.

Jones is an Australian model, having worked in shows for Ralph Lauren and Hugo Boss. He's also the co-founder of a skincare brand called Bondi Skin Co.

“As guys we felt like we didn’t have a really solid understanding of what skincare products we needed to be using we just relied on our partners,” he said in an interview with Nine.com.  “We loved how these serums felt on our skin and wondered why there wasn’t a male brand putting these serums forward as anti-ageing solutions.”

Last year, Dobrev and White shocked the world by announcing the end of their relationship. The couple were together for five years, with Dobrev supporting White at the Winter Olympics. White was also a big source of support for her, accompanying her to different movie events and premieres. 

It's unknown why the two ended their engagement. A source to PEOPLE said that the split “was a mutual decision, and wasn’t an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another."

For his part, White has been photographed in recent months with the model Angela Garten. The two have yet to address their relationship with the media.
