"We have not done this in a while," began Baldoni. "We have not spoken publicly for the better part of the last two years. And it's not because we don't have anything to say. Because Lord knows we have."

"It didn't feel like the right time."

"This feels like the moment," said Emily. The two went on to share their feelings of gratitude and how that feeling allowed them to move forward. "Gratitude has saved us," said Baldoni.

"It doesn't negate the injustice and the pain that we have felt in the last few years," added Emily. "How could something like this even happen? Let alone disguised as a fight for women?"

"The truth and the facts have spoken for themselves," concluded Emily, before the two went on to share that they are healing and better, even though it's a process.

What's the latest development in Baldoni and Lively's case?

In May of this year, Baldoni and Lively settled a lawsuit that began in 2024, following the release of their film, "It Ends With Us." Many accusations were shared, with Lively alleging that Baldoni sexually harassed her on set and launched a smear campaign against her.

Baldoni denied the allegations and filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds

A judge dismissed Lively's harassment claims and Baldoni's lawsuit.  The two settled the lawsuit in May, with neither winning. Both parties declared partial victories weeks before their trial.

In June, a judge ruled that Lively could continue to pursue her attorneys' fees, litigation costs, and damages in the legal battle. Her request to pursue punitive damages was denied.

Lively has not shared a statement on the case since May. The most recent news about her is linked to her friendship with Taylor Swift, who got married over the past week to Travis Kelce. Lively, one of her closest friends for years, was absent. There have been rumors for years suggesting that their friendship was affected by the legal case against Baldoni.
