Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber were some of the guests at the biggest wedding event of the year. The pair traveled to Madison Square Garden in New York over the weekend, attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's much-discussed wedding. In photos shared by their makeup artist, mother and daughter wore matching black looks and a stunning makeup palette that highlighted just how similar they are.
The photos were shared by Joe Handwerker, a hairstylist. In photos, he shared the similar hairstyling he did for both brunettes, adding some blonde highlights and a similar trim.
Both women had their hair cut in layers, with Kaia showing off some lighter highlights. The image also showed them both in black dresses, with Kaia opting for a tight dress with straps. Cindy opted for a one-shoulder gown that was also tight around the chest and torso.
She accessorized the look with a diamond bracelet.
Crawford and Swift's friendship
Crawford and Gerber were two of 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden, which hosted a 4th of July wedding party. While guests included all sorts of celebrities, Crawford and Swift have a friendship that dates back years, with Crawford being featured in Swift's music video "Bad Blood."
The video also included numerous friends of Swift, who were also in attendance at the wedding, including Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, Karlie Kloss, Lena Dunham, and Jessica Alba.
Details about Swift and Kelce's wedding
Details of the event remain private, with a few guests sharing details on social media outlets. The couple wore Christian Dior Haute Couture, with both opting for white looks. They also wrote their own vows, prompting tears from guests. “You would think the bride would be the one crying more, but it was actually Travis that was more emotional,” said a source.
While Swift didn't perform, it was revealed that she did sing at the rehearsal dinner. For the party itself, Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks were part of the entertainment. When it comes to food, sources shared that the catering was done by the couple's favorite New York City restaurants.
Some guests have shared their thoughts on the wedding on social media.
"Had a wonderful time at Taylor Swift/Travis Kelce's wedding last night," wrote the music video director Joseph Kahn. "I got to meet Steven Spielberg and the lovely Kate Capshaw and talk filmmaking with the GOAT (lifelong dream achieved). What I will say about the wedding was it was so much funnier and emotional than expected, and as big as it was, it also felt very intimate. And yes, literally everyone was there. I told Lotte many times it was like living in the internet, and AI would crack if it tried to render it. Anyway congratulations Taylor and Travis! Wishing your beautiful family and future family endless happiness!"
