Jennifer Garner reportedly has thoughts about Ben Affleck dating again

Ben Affleck has low-key been put through the headline ringer when it comes to dating. From failed relationships, marriages, and that hilarious viral video he sent influencer Nivine Jay on Raya, the 53-year-old still hasn't found his forever person.

Affleck has now been married twice; his first marriage was with Jennifer Garner, from 2005 until their divorce in 2018. Then, of course, to Jennifer Lopez from 2022- 2024.

It's been almost 2 years since JLo filed for divorce on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding, and Affleck has not been linked to anyone since.  

However, a Page Six insider said that he is "open to putting himself out there again," and isn't "ruling out dating."  They said he has friends who are ready to play wingman and set him up, but they noted that he’s "incredibly busy right now and isn’t sure he has the time for a serious, committed relationship.”

But his ex-wife reportedly has thoughts. Another insider told Page Six, the Gone Girl star thinks it might be good for Affleck to take a break from dating for "a while." "She cares about him a lot and only wants what’s best for him at the end of the day,” they said. 

The source explained that “From her perspective, he’s happier than he’s been in a long time and she feels like it could be healthy for him to keep putting that energy into himself, his work and his family instead of jumping into a relationship."

The former couple has remained incredible coparents to their three children: Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 14. They've been spotted having lunch solo and put on united from when they had to rush Violet to an urgent care in Los Angeles for what appeared to be an ankle injury.

Their relationship hasn't always been strong. In January, Garner shared rare insight, telling Marie Claire, "The fact of it is what was hard. The actual breaking up of a family is what was hard." "Losing a true partnership and friendship is what was hard," she continued.

Garner also opened up about how happy she is with their current partnership. While talking about the things in her life that surprise her, she said, "That I’m able to co-parent at this point in time with peace and equanimity and a partnership that I didn’t know I would ever get back to."

As for Garner's dating life, she's been in a super private relationship with John Miller. However, they have not recently been spotted together.
