Sydney Sweeney checked off a major New York City milestone over the weekend, thanks to boyfriend Scooter Braun. The actress and the music executive enjoyed a spontaneous Saturday night outing that culminated in Sweeney’s first-ever visit to the iconic Times Square.

The memorable moment was shared by Braun on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into the couple’s growing relationship. Earlier in the evening, the pair stepped out for a date night in Manhattan, coordinating in all-black looks. Sweeney, 28, wore a little black dress featuring a plunging neckline and short sleeves, while Braun, 44, opted for a classic black suit.

The night took an unexpected turn when Sweeney revealed she had never visited one of New York City's most famous landmarks. “When you’re in bed at 11pm and your girl says ‘I’ve never been to Times Square….’ 😂,” Braun captioned an Instagram Reel documenting the adventure.

The video opened with the couple riding rented bicycles through the city streets before arriving in the heart of Times Square. In another clip, Sweeney kept a low profile in a blue hoodie and sunglasses while enjoying a burger. Braun asked the actress how the food was, prompting a simple but enthusiastic response. “Good!”

Once in Times Square, Sweeney embraced the atmosphere, surrounded by flashing billboards and tourists. She even stood in front of a giant digital billboard displaying her latest American Eagle campaign.

The outing comes just days after Braun publicly opened up about his relationship with Sweeney for the first time. During an appearance on Suzy Weiss’ “Second Thought” podcast, Braun spoke about her work on HBO’s hit series “Euphoria.”

“I am catching it. I’m biased, I like it,” Braun said when discussing the show, adding that there has been “an incredible performance by a certain actress.”

Sweeney’s character, Cassie Howard, has been at the center of several headline-making storylines this season.

The couple reportedly began dating in late 2025 after meeting at the wedding celebration of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez. Since then, they have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight.

Over the final season of "Euphoria," Sweeney's character joins OnlyFans, with her trying to become famous through the adult-only platform. The storyline has resulted in a lot of bold and daring scenes from Sweeney, but Braun is reportedly fine with it. "Scooter has absolutely no issue with Sydney's more provocative scenes in Euphoria or any of the work she does as an actress," said a source to Page Six. "He fully understands that it's part of her job and respects how dedicated she is to her craft."

"Their relationship is very secure, and there's a strong level of trust between them," they continued. "Scooter isn't the type to feel threatened by her work or try to control what roles she takes on."

"He's incredibly supportive of her career and proud of everything she's accomplished."

“They’re both very happy together and things between them have been going really well," added the source.
