Elsie Hewitt is opening up about her life after welcoming a child and ending her relationship with Pete Davidson. In a new video shared on TikTok, Hewitt addressed the comments she received after some paparazzi photos of her were circulating online.
The clip shows Hewitt talking to her phone's camera. “That's not what I'm thinking about right now, because I have a baby to take care of, and I also have to work and make money, and I'm doing it on my own, which is hard,” she said.
She captioned the clip, "priorities?!?!"
In the likes and comments section of her clip, Hewitt appeared to agree with the criticism her followers leveled towards Davidson. She liked a comment that said that“not staying with your partner” when they just had a baby is “insanely loser behavior."
"This is THE most vulnerable time in a woman's life," continued the comment. She appears to have deleted the like.
"I hope you don't mean you're doing the financial part alone... that would be insane given the circumstances. You seem like a lovely person and a wonderful mother! We're all rooting for you," wrote another person.
Hewitt replied and deleted, "I am :)."
Following Hewitt's video, a source close to Davidson said that he was helping Hewitt with all of the financial costs involving his daughter ."Pete has made himself extremely available and has provided full financial support. Pete is actually covering all Scottie costs and more," they said to PEOPLE. "He is hoping Elsie has good health and success for the sake of their daughter."
More details about Hewitt and Davidson
Hewitt and Davidson welcomed their first daughter, Scottie Rose, five months ago. Earlier this month, it was reported that the couple had split up and were navigating their separation.
“Pete and Elsie are working on things,” said a source to PEOPLE. “They want one another to succeed and be happy.”
They said that the two had gone through some ups and downs in the past. “There have been points where they've split and have gotten back together,” continued the source. They claimed their daughter remained their "top priority."
Hewitt and Davidson were first linked together in March of last year. They announced their pregnancy that summer.
