Cardi B and Stefon Diggs turned up the affection at a Mother’s Day event, adding fuel to speculation that the couple is back together.
In a video shared to social media by sports journalist Kelsey Nicole Nelson, the NFL star kissed the “Bodak Yellow” rapper on the cheek while wrapping his arm tightly around her waist during the Diggs Deep Foundation Mother’s Day wellness event on Saturday.
Cardi stunned in a brown sleeveless knit mock turtleneck paired with detached sleeves and a coordinating skirt. She styled her hair long and sleek down to her waist and completed the look with high-heeled sandals and a small handbag. Another social media photo from the event showed the pair sharing a cozy hug, with the “WAP” rapper beaming over the football player’s shoulder.
The public display of affection appeared to strengthen rumors that the two have reunited, just two months after reportedly splitting in February.
Talk of a reconciliation first began in April when Diggs showed up at Cardi’s Little Miss Drama Tour stop in Washington, DC.
Celebrity trainer Clyde Simmons posted Instagram footage of the former New England Patriots player alongside his brother Trevon Diggs and their mother, Stephanie Diggs, attending the show.
Later that night, Stefon was also spotted at Cardi’s afterparty at Throw Social. Cardi was photographed leaving the venue shortly after Diggs and his family, briefly speaking with him before getting into his white car and departing together.
The “Up” rapper, 33, and Diggs, 32, reportedly ended their relationship while the athlete was preparing to compete in Super Bowl 2026 on Feb. 8.
After the game, which ended with the Seattle Seahawks defeating the Patriots 29-13, the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram.
A source later told People that Cardi “couldn’t trust” Diggs, adding, “Cardi is very no-nonsense. The second she felt that she couldn’t trust him, she pulled back to focus on her kids, her music and tour."
Cardi and the NFL free agent, who confirmed their relationship publicly in May 2025, share an infant son born in November 2025. Diggs is also father to five other children with five different women. Four of those children were born in 2025, the same year he welcomed his son with Cardi.
According to The Sun, Cardi allegedly “told him plainly that if he cheats or has a child behind her back, it’s over” before their breakup earlier this year. The Grammy winner also shares three children with estranged husband Offset, whom she filed for divorce from for a second time in 2024.
