Lenny Kravitz has publicly shown his support for his future son-in-law, Harry Styles.
This surprising statement came on Thursday, May 7, when the 61-year-old singer shared his excitement for Styles' latest music video. The visual for "Dance No More," is the third to arrive from his latest album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.
The new video, which was directed by Colin Solal Cardo, sees the former One Direction member enter what appears to be a high school gym before quickly getting down to disco in little red shorts and tennis shoes. In the rest of the video, he does some choreography with a crowd of dancers.
Lenny — the dad of Zoë Kravitz — took the time to support Harry by commenting underneath a still from the music video posted to Instagram by Styles, writing in a short comment, "Harry! ✊🏾❤️."
Just last month, People confirmed that Styles and Kravitz were engaged after eight months of dating. This confirmation came after the actress was spotted out and about with a new ring on her hand during a recent outing in London.
A source previously opened up to the outlet about Lenny's first time meeting Styles in September 2025, when the British singer and the Batman actress had lunch with her dad in New York City. According to the insiders, the meeting went very well, which seems to be what led to their strong relationship now.
"Friends of Lenny say he is very protective of Zoë, but it really seemed like he enjoyed meeting Harry," the source told People at the time. "From what people could tell, he thought Harry was polite, down to earth and genuinely interested in getting to know the family."
According to that same source, those close to the High Fidelity star know "Lenny has always wanted Zoë to be with someone who respects her, and it looked like he felt Harry does. They were laughing a lot at lunch, and it came across that Lenny appreciated Harry's sense of humor. He likes when someone can keep things light."
