Matt Damon’s wife left fans in awe during her latest red carpet appearance. Hand in hand with her husband, Luciana Barroso attended the “Revels and Revelations” gala for the nonprofit organization Bring Change to Mind, held at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture in San Francisco.
The 49-year-old Argentine beauty captured every spotlight with a highly flattering look featuring a black spaghetti-strap dress paired with matching sandals, a deep tan, and a new haircut. She has traded her long locks for a style that refreshes her image.
Just ahead of her 50th birthday, Luciana Barroso has completely transformed her image with a radical bob, saying goodbye to her long hair. The layered cut adds volume and movement.
Damon’s wife opted for light waves and a beautiful, glossy finish, paired with natural makeup that highlights her facial features. She will celebrate a half-century of life this summer on July 31, a milestone date for her husband and their four daughters.
The couple shares three daughters: Isabella, 19, Gia, 17, and Stella, 15. They are joined by Luciana’s eldest daughter, 26-year-old Alexia, from a previous relationship, whom the actor considers his own.
They remain one of the most solid and admired couples in the film industry. Three years ago, they introduced their daughters at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie Air. This month also marks thirteen years since the actor and his wife renewed their wedding vows on the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia. The couple experienced that magical day surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues.
The special guest list included their daughters, Ben Affleck (who attended with his then-wife Jennifer Garner), as well as Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. The couple first met in a Miami bar in 2003 while the actor was filming Stuck on You and she was working as a bartender. Two years later, they surprised everyone by tying the knot in a secret, intimate civil ceremony in New York City in December 2005.
Affleck and Damon: Two Award-Winning Actors
The couple was accompanied at the gala by Ben Affleck, the actor’s close friend since adolescence and since they filmed and won an Oscar for Good Will Hunting. Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband appeared to be in high spirits at this “family” date, reuniting with the couple who supported him so much following his split from JLo.
The Argo actor looked sharp in a navy blue suit and white shirt as he posed for photos with Damon, screen legend Glenn Close (who founded the Bring Change to Mind nonprofit in 2010), and comedian Sarah Silverman.
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon received the Robin Williams Legacy of Laughter Award for their connection to Robin Williams and their impact on comedy and mental health awareness. The award honored their collaboration on Good Will Hunting (1997), where Williams played Damon’s therapist. That film earned the duo an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, while Williams took home Best Supporting Actor. Williams “made their dreams come true” by accepting the pivotal role.
They received the award from the late actor’s children: Zak, Zelda, and Cody Williams. Sadly, Robin passed away in August 2014 at the age of 63. The actor suffered from Lewy body dementia, a degenerative disease that led to insomnia, paranoia, and a struggle to understand reality.
