Zayn Malik has canceled all US stops on his upcoming "Konnakol" tour. He shared the news on a social media post, sharing that the change in schedule was due to his health.

Malik is currently dealing with an undisclosed health concern

Malik shared a statement on his Instagram stories. “To my fans: Thank you so much for all the support and love you’ve shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers, and well wishes for my health. I’ve felt it, and it’s meant the world. I’ve been at home recovering and I’m doing well and will be better and stronger than before.”

“I’ve had to take another look at my schedule for the months ahead and have to reduce the number of shows on the KONNAKOL Tour,” he continued. “I want to make sure I still get out and see as many of you as I possibly can. I’m really looking forward to playing these shows for you, and I hope to see the rest of you around the world very soon. Big Love, Z.”

Malik released a new album on April 17th

Malik was hospitalized for a month due to an unspecified condition. Earlier this month, he shared a message, revealing that he'd been going through a "long week" and was forced to cancel some performances. 

Malik's update from the hospital

“To my fans - Thank you to all of you for your love & support now & always- been a long week and am still unexpectedly recovering. Heartbroken that I can’t see you all this week, I wouldn’t be in the place I am today without you guys, and am so thankful for your understanding," he wrote in a post preserved by a fanpage on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of him in the hospital.

Mailk was a part of the beloved boyband, OneDirection

"Thank you to the incredible hospital staff of Drs, nurses, cardiologist, management, admin and everyone who has helped along the way and continue to. You are all legends! Big big love xx z." The post came hours after the release of his new album and highly anticipated album, "Konnakol."

As of this writing, Malik's shows, which mark his first solo headline arena tour, are scheduled to kick off on May 23 in London. He has shows scheduled through October, with stops in Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, and Peru.
