Katie Holmes is showing off her most playful side. The actress and filmmaker was photographed earlier this week in New York, wearing one of the most useful pieces for transitional weather: overalls.
In photos captured earlier this week, Holmes was seen out on a walk in New York, in what appears to be one of the city's parks, most likely Central Park.
She was photographed wearing some denim overalls that she paired with some playful colors. She paired the look with a pink blouse and black flats, completing the look with a canvas tote bag.
Holmes completed the look with some sunglasses.
Over the past weeks, Holmes has been photographed with various outfits that are perfect for spring, showcasing a variety of colors and textures that suit the shifting weather. Last week, she was photographed wearing a stunning blue dress that appeared to be made out of a silk fabric, which she paired with a red button-up.
The combination was striking and fun, both fashion elements that Holmes is known for and has made a part of her brand throughout her long and successful career.
Holmes' reunion with her ex, Joshua Jackson
Katie Holmes is one of the hardest-working actresses and filmmakers in New York. Over the past year, she's been working on her new film, "Happy Hours," which she made alongside her former co-star and ex Joshua Jackson.
The two worked in "Dawson's Creek," becoming the TV show's most famous couple. The pair also dated while they made the show, maintaining a friendship that remains strong many years later.
"We are so thrilled to be a part of the Tribeca Film Festival this June with our film Happy Hours," wrote Holmes on an Instagram post, sharing a photo of herself and Jackson. "So many beautiful people worked on this project. And working with Josh again was a dream."
In interviews, Jackson has opened up about their dynamic and his time working on "Dawson's Creek." “That time in my life would be for most people like their college years, right?” he said on the Today Show. “And there are these people in your life, she’s a lifelong friend now, and for us to be able to go back and do this again, and, honestly, for her to be able to create that space for us was kind of magical.”
