In fact, in the latest episode of 'Call Her Daddy', the podcast by influencer Alex Cooper, sat down for a lively and relaxed chat in which she opened up about love, breakups, and other thorny issues.
They say practice makes perfect, and Karol G is proof that being tech-savvy is the best way to stay one step ahead. The "Provenza" singer revealed that technology was her ultimate wingman when it came to uncovering an ex's betrayal. When asked by a host to name the biggest lie she’s ever caught a man in, the artist didn't skip a beat: "The location... and a location of [thousands of] miles and oceans."
The reggaeton star shared that it was "thanks to GPS location" that she discovered she was being cheated on. Apparently, while the individual (whose identity she did not reveal) repeatedly insisted he was at home, the mobile tracker showed that "he was actually on another continent."

Following this unpleasant experience, Cooper wanted to know what Karol would do now if she found out her partner was lying about his whereabouts. "Problems, we would have real problems. That would mean starting to manage that relationship differently," the singer assured. She confirmed that after discovering the deception, she ended the relationship immediately. "That’s a no. It’s a 'next'," she stated decisively.
Continuing the interview's tone, the Grammy winner took the opportunity to confess the type of men she is usually attracted to. "I like the 'bad boy' a bit, you know? I have to change that," she said with a laugh, adding: "I like the guy who looks like he’s from the neighborhood and is chill; that’s my type."
She also described her ideal date and the details a suitor shouldn't miss if they want to win her over, "For me, the best date is being taken to eat hot dogs and fries at a street spot, making me feel like I’m from the neighborhood, where the bad boys come from. I love that."
Karol G's romantic history has been marked by two especially high-profile relationships that accompanied different stages of her career. The first one was the singer Anuel AA. She began dating the fellow reggaeton artist in 2018. They became a public phenomenon and got engaged in 2019, but the wedding never happened. The relationship ended in 2021 after years of tension fueled by social media and their own songs.
Learning from that, she started a new romance with the singer Feid, maintaining a more discreet relationship away from the spotlight. However, earlier this month, the artist confirmed their breakup in an interview with the singer.
She explained that she was the one who decided to end the relationship upon realizing it no longer made her happy or fit her current stage of growth. "I didn't want to be there anymore," she stated, underlining that moving forward, she will focus on prioritizing her emotional well-being and personal development.
