North West continues to take statement accessories to another level. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s firstborn debuted a new set of grills on TikTok. The 12-year-old took to social media to share a fresh series of videos showing off a custom 14kt white gold grill.
The piece is just one of three new designs added to her growing collection. They were created by Gabby Elan Jewelry, which also crafted other versions. “Teal Blue, Candy Red and White Gold For @northwest,” the brand wrote, referencing the trio of standout designs.
A Fashion Statement
Although North is not even a teenager yet, she has been building her image, identity, and early trendsetting. We have seen her rocking waist-length blue hair, goth-inspired fashion, finger piercings, corsets, oversized graphic T-shirts layered over a pleated miniskirt, spike-covered boots and bracelets, caps, tons of Balenciaga looks, and more.
For North, grill culture is nothing new. Back in January, she wore a black grill in another TikTok clip. That earlier look leaned more grunge.
Kim Kardashian on North’s Creative Freedom
North’s evolving style has always sparked conversations before, especially during the times she is photographed with bold beauty choices like bold makeup, piercings, and temporary tattoos. Many people have wondered why Kim Kardashian allows the experimental looks at her young age, but the mom four has been clear about where she stands.
Speaking on “Khloé in Wonderland,” she told her younger sister, Khloé Kardashian, that she is not pushing anything on her eldest daughter. “I think like the one misconception that people might have is like, ‘Oh, she’s trying to be [North’s] bestie and lets her get away with a lot,’” Kim said. “Like, no, Northy actually has a lot of rules.”
However, not all the rules apply to fashion, as Kim emphasized that style is one of the few areas where North has autonomy. “I love her for that, and she would do it regardless,” Kim added, noting that she chooses to support creativity rather than restrict.
Kim Kardashian, who happens to be a business mogul, is also supporting North with NOR11. A brand for Gen Alpha kids that includes faux fur hats and accessories, cyber-goth garments, maximalist streetwear, and an “alt-baddie” aesthetic.
Fashion and Music
Style is not the only thing North is making headlines for. On April 1, 2026, she joined Kanye West onstage to perform "Talking" and her debut single "Piercing on My Hand."
The performance is a step in her growing artistic career, as she has a debut EP already announced. Her new song is also a response to public scrutiny: "Piercing on my hand, the other holding bands... you wouldn't understand," she raps.
