Georgina Rodríguez surprised her sister during the ‘Top Chef’ final competition: ‘We’re incredibly proud of you’

Georgina Rodríguez’s sister, Ivana Rodríguez, had an extraordinary night after an intense competition that involved the best ingredients, time limits, creativity, and plenty of flavor. Ivana was crowned the first pastry champion of “Top Chef: Dulces y Famosos.” Just before the grand finale, Georgina encouraged her to keep going with a touching message that motivated her through the final challenges.

“Hello, my dear sister,” Georgina said in a video that deeply moved Ivana. “You’re in the final, you’ve worked so hard. Seeing you there is the greatest gift for us. You’ve given it your all. We’re incredibly proud of you,” the influencer added.

Beyond the competition, Georgina expressed her excitement about reuniting with Ivana. “I can’t wait to see you shine, to delight me with all your pastry skills and your new talent. I’m looking forward to seeing you soon and celebrating this new chapter,” said Cristiano Ronaldo’s fiancée.

Ivana received her sister’s words with joy and couldn’t hold back her tears. The message also gave her the strength to keep going despite having migraine. “It was the right message at the right moment to give me strength, because she really pushed me to be here, and this show has given me so much. I’m very happy to have been part of Top Chef,” Ivana said on camera.

Confident In Herself

The Spanish reality show’s final came down to Ivana Rodríguez and Roi Méndez after Belén Esteban’s elimination. Upon being named the winner, Ivana affirmed her place in the spotlight: “I’m Georgina’s sister and Cristiano’s sister-in-law, but I’m also Ivana Rodríguez, and I’m very happy that everyone has gotten to know me.”

Ivana dedicated her victory to her father’s memory and donated her prize of over $117,000 (100,000 euros) to the “El ángel de Javi” foundation, which supports children with NEDAMSS (a neurodevelopmental disorder involving regression, abnormal movements, loss of speech, and epilepsy). “We need to bring a therapy from the United States that costs one and a half million euros,” she explained.
