Anna Camp is opening up about her sexuality. The actress, who recently starred in "Scream 7," sat down on a podcast to discuss her life and career, including her evolving sexuality.
Camp was a guest at "I've Never Said This Before with Tommy DiDario," where she discussed how things had changed in her life as she's gotten older.
"As a 43-year-old woman, I am very proud of myself for owning my sexuality at this age,” said Camp in an exclusive clip shared by PEOPLE. “I am a very strong person for doing it in somewhat of a spotlight with people criticizing and judging and making assumptions. I'm really proud to be bisexual."
Camp says she's proud of the way she's been navigating "a major evolution in my 40s and not being afraid of it."
“Sure, there are times I feel like I am taking a risk and this is scary and I’m doing it in a public forum. But to say, ‘No, I only get one life and I want to be happy,’ that’s what life is all about," she continued.
Camp came out last year, sharing the news that she was dating Jade Whipkey, a writer and on-set stylist. In the past, she'd had public relationships with different men, including marriages to Michael Mosley and Skylar Astin.
“You think you've got this idea of who you are and that's how your life is going to go,” she said. “And that's happened to me several times in my life, where I thought that I knew what was happening. And it could have stopped in that way. I could have settled. I could have said, no, I'm done evolving.”
Camp said that she wants "to continue to evolve and to learn."

Camp and Whipkey shared the news of their romance last year, and had their official red carpet debut in the movie "Bride Hard."
That day, Camp introduced Whipkey as her girlfriend. "I brought my girlfriend, Jade. We're very excited. I'm so happy to be having a fun night with her," she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
