Brooks Nader has been keeping a secret. And no, it's not another athlete. The model-turned-reality confirmed she’s officially joining FOX’s upcoming Baywatch reboot for the 2026–2027 season, and she was at the first table read on Monday. She revealed the news on her Instagram story aboard a private jet with a script in hand, writing, "I've been keeping a little secret..."
Nader will play Selene, the “sharp-tongued” captain of the Zuma Beach lifeguards. “While she is excellent at her job, she and Baywatch Captain Hobie Buchannon (played by Stephen Amell) have a very different approach to saving lives that is a constant source of friction."

The reboot, which lands nearly 25 years after the original series wrapped, is stacking up its cast. Noah Beck is a series regular named Luke, a rookie lifeguard. "He’s the ultimate charming SoCal beach boy, a surfer and a flirt, but when it comes to saving lives, he’s one of the best," the release stated. "He’s got some growing up to do, and Baywatch is a big part of that, especially his relationship with Hobie, who he sees as a mentor and a second father."

Director McG is helming the first episode, with production set to kick off in Venice Beach this spring.

It's a full circle moment for Nader, who channeled Baywatch energy when she landed the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in 2023. She wore a red one-piece that looked straight out of the Malibu archives, and the photo is the pinned post on her Instagram.
After the news, she reposted a photo of her SI Swim cover, writing on her Instagram story, "I've been manifesting this for a minute @si_swimsuit."
