Rumors about a split between Pink and Carey Hart have been forcefully denied by the singer herself. After reports circulated that the couple had separated after 20 years of marriage, Pink took to Instagram with a direct and sharply worded response. The Grammy winner made it clear she was blindsided by the claim.

“So, I was just alerted to the fact that I'm separated from my husband. I didn't know. Thank you, People magazine. Thank you, US Weekly. Thank you for letting me know. I was wondering if you'd also like to tell our children. My 14-year-old and 9-year-old are also unaware.” The remarks referenced coverage from People and Us Weekly. Pink and Hart share two children, Willow Sage, 14, and Jameson Moon, 9.

Instead of stopping at a denial, Pink pivoted to a broader critique of media priorities. “Or do you want to talk about some real news? Do you wanna talk about the Epstein files? Do you wanna talk about systemic racism? Or misogyny in sports? Or how classy the women's hockey team is? Or how eight of the 12 [gold] medals won in the Olympics this year for the U.S. were won by women?”

She then turned the focus back to her own career milestones. “Or do you maybe wanna talk about the fact that I got nominated the first year I was eligible for the Rock & Roll m***********' Hall of Fame?” she continues. “Do you wanna talk about my accomplishments, or do you only wanna talk about my supposed demise? So, fake news. Not true. F*****' hate that term.”

The reference was to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination she received in her first year of eligibility, a significant career achievement. Pink closed the video on a pointed but calm note. “I love you all. Go with God,” she said. “And trash news, you can do better.”

Pink denies reports she and Carey Hart have separated, calling the claims “fake news” in a pointed Instagram video defending her marriage.

In the caption, she doubled down: “Like I always say. If you don’t hear it from me, don’t believe the hype. Stay tuned though! Who knows what could happen next!?!”

Pink and Hart married in 2006 after first meeting at the 2001 Summer X Games in Philadelphia. Their relationship has never followed a predictable script. They did separate in 2008, but reconciled in 2009 and have remained together since.

Over the years, Pink has been unusually transparent about marriage, therapy, and the work required to sustain a long-term partnership. She has consistently framed relationships as evolving systems rather than static fairy tales.
