Vittoria Ceretti added a touch of elegance to the 2026 Winter Olympics opening ceremony in Milan.
The 27-year-old supermodel, who has been romantically linked to Leonardo DiCaprio, was selected as one of the event’s official flagbearers during Friday’s ceremony at San Siro Stadium on February 6.
A native of Brescia, Italy — located about 90 minutes from Milan — Ceretti played a symbolic role in the proceedings, presenting the Italian flag to the Carabinieri’s elite honor guard, the Corazzieri. In an Instagram post after the ceremony, Ceretti called the moment, "the greatest honor of my life."
She appeared near the end of a procession featuring participants dressed in white, red, and green ensembles inspired by the Italian flag. The model, who has been connected to DiCaprio, 51, for more than two years, stood out as she completed the handoff.
According to Vogue Italia, Ceretti wore a custom Armani Privé gown for the occasion. The long white dress featured dramatic sleeves and a high neckline and was unveiled shortly after pop icon Mariah Carey’s performance.
Viewers watching at home were thrilled to see Ceretti take part in the ceremony in her home country. One fan praised her “dreamlike refinement of beauty and elegance,” while others applauded her “mainstream turnaround” following her relationship with DiCaprio.
Another viewer pointed out that broadcasters referenced her relationship during the broadcast, describing her partner as a “very, very famous actor.”
Ceretti and DiCaprio have been connected publicly for nearly three years. The pair were first spotted together in footage obtained by Page Six, showing them dancing at a nightclub in Ibiza before sharing a kiss.
They were seen together again in August 2024 while vacationing in Italy with DiCaprio’s longtime friend Tobey Maguire and a group of friends. During a swim in Sardinia, DiCaprio reportedly suffered a jellyfish sting, and photos appeared to show Ceretti assisting him alongside a crew member from their yacht.

That September, Ceretti showed her support at the Los Angeles premiere of DiCaprio’s film One Battle After Another, once again opting not to walk the carpet with him.
Previously, in 2024, a source told PEOPLE that DiCaprio “seems to really like her” and described Ceretti as “very cute, sweet and charming.”
