Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton have emerged as the season’s newest and most unexpected power couple. Kardashian, 45, traveled to the UK for a romantic getaway with Hamilton, 41, one of the most famous Formula 2 stars. The pair enjoyed a lavish weekend at Estelle Manor, an exclusive countryside retreat in the Cotswolds. According to reports, the couple shared an intimate dinner and indulged in a couple’s massage.
“Everything felt very romantic. Kim and Lewis made the most of all the facilities available,” a source told The Sun. “She had two bodyguards, and Lewis had one security guard, but they stayed discreetly in the background.”
Kim, who finalized her divorce from Kanye West in 2022, arrived Saturday afternoon at Oxford Airport aboard her $127 private jet. Two cars were waiting to take her to the hotel. Hours later, Hamilton landed by helicopter from London.
Sources say the couple stayed in a main-house suite costing around $1364 per night, with private access to the spa and pool, plus an exclusive dinner experience reserved for a select few. According to the reportage, the weekend's total cost was estimated at around $163,780.
The getaway wrapped up Sunday morning at around 11 a.m. Hamilton exited through the main entrance, while Kim reportedly left via a side door, hoping to avoid attention and a paparazzi opportunity showing the two together. She was still quickly recognized thanks to the eight suitcases bearing her name.
Later that day, she was spotted smiling while shopping at Selfridges.
Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton have known each other for years. They first crossed paths in 2014 at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in London alongside their then-partners, West and Nicole Scherzinger. The following year, West invited Hamilton to spend Easter with his family. That same summer, Hamilton attended the Glastonbury Festival to watch West perform, later recalling advice the rapper gave him.
“Kanye told me: ‘I’m a reference in the music world, but I try to do what I love in fashion, and people don’t like it. You’re a reference in racing, but you love music, and people probably won’t accept it. You have to do what you love and not care what others think,’” he said to City AM.
Kardashian and Hamilton's friendship
Following Kim and Kanye’s split, Kardashian and Hamilton remained friends. The driver is close with Kendall Jenner, Kim’s sister, and Kris Jenner has been spotted on several occasions cheering him on at the Monaco Grand Prix. Kim and Lewis were also photographed together at the Wall Street Journal’s Innovation Awards in 2021. “It’s a great honor to be recognized among such an extraordinary group of talents,” Hamilton said at the time.
Most recently, the pair were seen together after Kate Hudson’s New Year’s Eve party in Aspen. Now, after their UK rendezvous, their relationship appears to have reignited, fueling speculation that Kim and Lewis could soon become one of the year’s buzziest couples.
