Taylor Swift is one of the world's most famous singers. She's also one of the most prolific, becoming a fixture over the years in the Grammy Awards due to her numerous albums and nominations.
This year, things might be different. While Swift released her twelfth album, "The Life of a Showgirl," the record dropped after the Grammy eligibility period, leaving her unable to be considered for this year's Grammys. She's also busy with her wedding planning, with her and Travis Kelce announcing their engagement last year.
The pair shared the happy news on their social media, sharing a photo of the engagement. "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married," she captioned the post.
The rumors of Swift's attendance or performance were put to rest by one of the Grammy producers, Ben Winston. "The only reason people think Taylor might be performing or coming is because HITS decided to print it this week and put it in their HITS List, and it was picked up globally," he said in an interview with HITS Daily Double.
"But HITS just totally made that up. And now I am getting asked about it by you, as if it's a real thing, when it was made up in your office! That really is a full-circle rumor!"
