Missing people cases are stressful for everybody involved, and Mick Jagger's family is currently in the middle of what seems like a true crime episode. His granddaughter Assisi Jackson’s longtime partner, Alexander Key, is currently missing. Assisi is 33, and her mom is Mick's daughter Jade. She shares two children with Key.
Devon & Cornwall Police shared photos on Facebook with details about the case. “MISSING | Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a 37-year-old man who has been reported missing from the Boscastle area," they wrote.
According to police, he was last seen at 2:20 on Friday, the 23 at a local pub. "Alexander is described as medium build, bright peroxide blonde hair and normally wearing bright coloured clothing," they wrote.
He was spotted on CCTV footage around an hour later walking down the sidewalk with his hands in his pockets. “If you have seen Alexander, or know of his whereabouts please call police immediately on 999, quoting log number 847 24th Jan," they concluded.
The pub, Cobweb Inn, also shared a post on Facebook with a photo from their security cameras of Key sitting in the bar. “URGENT…MISSING PERSON. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF THE WHEREABOUTS OR YOU MAY OF STOPPED TO TALK TO ALEX OR NOTICED HIM WALKING," they wrote on Sunday. “HIS FAMILY ARE SO WORRIED. MISSING FROM FRIDAY 23RD JAN WHEN HE LEFT PUB AT 2.30PM."
On Monday, Jade shared a screenshot of the police department post with a prayer hand emoji and red hearts.
Mick is turning 83 this year in July. He welcomed 8 children into the world: Karis, Jade, Elizabeth, James, Georgia May, Lucas, Gabriel, and Deveraux with five different women. Jade's mom is Bianca Jagger, who was married to the rock star from 1971 to 1978.
True crime enthusiasts know that when someone goes missing, the clock starts ticking immediately. Investigators often say the first 48 hours are everything. It’s when tips are most likely to come in, when patterns can still be traced, phones pinged, surveillance footage is available, and urgency is everything. After that, leads thin, evidence fades, and people start to go back to their everyday lives.
Hopefully, he is found safe.
