Karol G and Feid's breakup is confirmed after months of speculation

Karol G and Feid seemed to be one of the strongest celebrity couples in music, but after months of fan speculation, it's been confirmed that they have broken up.  According to TMZ, it was "amicable."

The Colombian couple and collaborators dated for three years after the release of "FRIKI" in 2021. Sources told the outlet they "quietly" ended things a "few months ago" and are on "good terms."

There has been speculation since October 2025 that the couple broke up. Fans were sharing theories on social media, pointing out that they hadn't posted each other on social media since May. 

They were spotted on vacation in July, but that seems to be the last time they've been spotted together in public. The former couple still follows each other on Instagram.

Their love story

Karol and Feid kept their relationship relatively private. She revealed how they met with Rolling Stone. “There was a long time when we didn’t speak to each other, and I barely knew anything about him,” she said.

When Feid was breaking out and making charts across Latin America, Karol invited him to open her 2021 Bichota Tour. They were spotted holding hands in Miami in June 2023, confirming their relationship.

The singers were a power couple, releasing their track “Verano Rosa" in June 2025, which marked their third collaboration after "FRIKI" and "+57."

In May 2025, Karol shared rare insight into their relationship, telling USA Today, "There have been two or three moments that we couldn't see each other, but we understand that. Even if it's hard, it's not that hard because both of us understand what we do."

She went on to call Feid a "blessing." "It's a blessing for me that I have someone like him in my life and in this moment of my career," she shared. 

While the couple was able to keep the split a secret for months, now that the breakup is out in the open, social media is going to be sent into a frenzy. With two of Latin music's biggest stars' singles, it'll be interesting to see what happens next.
