Donald Trump and Daddy Yankee are the latest unexpected collaboration. In a new post shared by the White House's official TikTok account, Trump is seen celebrating the country's oil prices as he dances along to "Gasolina."
The video is a fan cam set to the tune of "Gasolina," showing Trump in different places, like the White House and on his plane. "Promises made, promises kept," reads some text over the clip.
The clip then shows a list of oil prices from different locations, celebrating that 43 states are pricing the galon of oil for under $3 dollars. The video concludes with Trump's famous dance moves.
For the past decade, when Trump decided to run for the presidency, his dance moves have become a part of his onstage persona. In his rallies, Trump has often walked out to songs like "Y.M.C.A," dancing along to the tune at the audience's request and delight.
In a recent public appearance, Trump said that his wife, Melania Trump, wasn't a fan of his dance moves. “My wife hates when I do this,” he said to a room full of Republican lawmakers at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington. “She’s a very classy person, right? She said, ‘It’s so unpresidential.’ I said, ‘But I did become president.’”
“She actually said, ‘Could you imagine FDR dancing?’ She said that to me,” he continued. “I said there’s a long history that perhaps she doesn’t know, because he was an elegant fellow, even as a Democrat."
Trump said that Melania believes audiences feel like her, and that they don't like it when he dances. “She said, ‘They don’t like it, they’re just being nice to you.’ I said, ‘That’s not right. The place goes crazy. They’re screaming, ‘Dance, please!’”
Trump's thoughts regarding Melania's new documentary
Earlier this month, Trump also shared his thoughts regarding his wife's new documentary, titled "Melania," and following the First Lady for the 20 days leading up to Trump's second presidential inauguration.
The documentary is coming out on January 30th, but Trump has already seen pieces of it. "It's incredible," he said. “I’ve seen pieces of it, it’s incredible … she did a book, and the book was a big number one best seller, and this is a movie, and it seems to be captivating a lot of people’s attention."
Trailers and early clips from the documentary show Melania preparing for various inauguration events, attending rallies, and meeting with notorious figures.
