Elton John ushered in 2026 with family by his side.
The 78-year-old music icon and his husband, David Furnish, 63, celebrated New Year’s Eve at Donatella Versace’s star-studded party — and the couple were joined by their sons, Zachary, 15, and Elijah, who recently turned 13.
In Instagram photos from the night, the “Rocket Man” hitmaker looked sharp in a black blazer featuring a fully embroidered collar, paired with a polka-dot button-down shirt, coordinating black trousers and his trademark thick black frames.
Furnish opted for an off-white shawl-collar blazer layered over a crisp white shirt and black pants. The proud parents posed with Versace and their boys, both of whom wore classic black suits styled with white dress shirts.
“Thank you @donatella_versace and @edward_enninful for hosting us for a fabulous New Years Eve party! A perfect way to see in 2026 🚀✨,” John wrote in the caption.
John and Furnish welcomed their first son, Zachary, via surrogate in 2010, with Elijah arriving in 2013 through the same surrogate.
Public sightings of the family together have been few and far between in recent years, with only a handful of confirmed appearances throughout 2025. Back in March, they attended John’s annual Oscars viewing party, and in September, John shared an Instagram photo of himself and the boys at a Watford FC match wearing matching blue jerseys to cheer on the team he has owned since 1976.
Just weeks ago, the longtime couple also celebrated a major milestone — their 20th wedding anniversary — marking the occasion with heartfelt Instagram tributes on Sunday, Dec. 21.
“Happy anniversary to my incredible husband, @davidfurnish. Today we celebrate 20 years since our civil partnership, 11 years of marriage, and many more years of happiness to come!” John wrote.
In a separate post honoring their relationship, Furnish added, “20 years ago today we were civil partnered. 11 years ago today we were wedded. Happy Anniversary to my magnificent husband @eltonjohn. I’m so grateful for the beautiful life we have built together 🙏🏻🚀❤️. Love you forever.”
