Kim Kardashian clung onto summer in December as she posed in a tiny leopard-print string bikini while sunbathing, sharing the sultry snap with her Instagram followers. The reality TV actress flaunted her jaw-dropping curves in the photo, which showed her soaking up the sun with her signature black locks slicked back, oversized jet-black sunglasses shielding her eyes as she puckered up to the camera.
The sizzling image was just one of 18 photos in a carousel uploaded by the Skims founder. Alongside the bikini moment, Kim gave fans a glimpse into her family life, posting shots with her 70-year-old mom, Kris Jenner, and her children, daughters North, 12, and Chicago, 7, as well as sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 6. She also shared a rare and touching snap with her 91-year-old grandmother, Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell.
The Kardashians star closed out the carousel, captioned “Selfie szn” with a cozy photo from a sleepover alongside her sister Khloe Kardashian, 41, and 44-year-old pop icon Britney Spears, offering a mix of glamour and intimacy that fans have come to expect from her social media posts.
The December upload appeared to signal a moment of relaxation for Kim following a challenging period, after she recently admitted to feeling “uncomfortable” and losing confidence after failing the California bar exam. Kayne West ex has been working toward becoming a lawyer for several years, but it was revealed that she did not pass her most recent test and will now need to retake it if she hopes to qualify, a setback she said initially left her feeling discouraged.
Speaking candidly to Time magazine, Kim explained that she had studied for “nine hours a day” for three months, determined to pass the exam on her “first try.” She recalled taking a moment to process the results, admitting that she “didn’t feel good about it” when she learned the results. The experience left her feeling uncomfortable and lacking confidence, particularly knowing the news would quickly become public. Wanting to address it head-on, she decided to share the outcome herself, saying she knew instantly what she needed to do next.
While the setback was difficult, Kim said she refused to dwell on the disappointment. She acknowledged that failing “really sucks,” especially after dedicating so much time and effort to studying, but emphasized that she knows what she can improve moving forward.
Kim previously enrolled in a four-year legal apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm in 2018 and took the baby bar exam three times before passing it in 2021. It was also reported that she successfully passed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) earlier this year, marking another step forward in her legal journey.
