Priscilla Presley is addressing some explosive headlines that have been swirling her family. In news that was made public yesterday, a lawsuit claims that Riley Keough, Presley's granddaughter, is the birth mother of John Travolta's youngest son, Ben Travolta.
Presley's lawyers have called the allegations "outrageous."
"After losing motion after motion in this case, and unsuccessfully seeking to have Presley's counsel of record, Marty Singer, disqualified from representing her in this matter, Brigitte Kruse, Kevin Fialko, and their co-conspirators have demonstrated that there is no bar too low, no ethical line that they are unwilling to cross in an effort to cause further pain to Priscilla Presley and her family," they said in a statement to TMZ.
"In a completely improper effort to exert undue pressure on Presley to retract her legitimate, truthful claims, Kruse and her co-conspirators have also sued Presley’s son, cousin, and assistant," they continued. "These recent outrageous allegations have absolutely nothing to do with the claims in this case. The conduct of Kruse, Fialko, and their new lawyers (they are on their fourth set of attorneys) is shameful, and it absolutely will be addressed in court."
Riley Keough is the daughter of the late Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough. She had three siblings: the late Benjamin, and twins Harper and Finley.
What does the original lawsuit claim?
These allegations stem from a legal battle between the Presley family and Kevin Fialko and Brigitte Kruse. The latter two claim that Presley's son, Navarone Garcia, committed a breach of contract and owes them money for years of service.
In the explosive lawsuit, Kruse and Fialko claim that Michael Lockwood, Lisa Marie Presley's ex-husband, orchestrated a deal where his stepdaughter, Keough, would provide John Travolta and his late wife Kelly Preston with some of her eggs, resulting in the birth of the couple's youngest son. In exchange, the lawsuit claims Keough obtained an "old Jaguar" and some money.
John Travolta and Kelly Preston were married for 30 years until her death. The couple shared three children: Jett, who tragically died when he was 16, Ella, 25, and Ben, 15.
Kruse and Fialko have been engaged in a legal battle with the Presleys for over a year now, with there being a back-and-forth of lawsuits and counterlawsuits. In August of last year, Presley sued them for elder abuse. The next month, Kruse and Fialko sued her for allegedly breaching their contract in a $50 million legal complaint.
