Nadia Ferreira is in New York with her son, Marquitos. The pair is accompanying Marc Anthony, who just performed at the Rockefeller Center for the traditional Christmas tree lighting — one of the most widely attended events in New York. Ferreira's trip comes days after she was honored as one of the 100 Latina Powerhouses at the event presented by ¡HOLA! in Miami, where she also served as the evening’s host. The family traded Miami’s warm temperatures for the freezing weather up north.
For the trip, Nadia opted for a dark look with tights, tall boots, a turtleneck top, and a large jacket. In the case of Marquitos, he looked adorable in beige pants, camel-colored boots, a printed sweater, and a denim jacket with shearling, topped off with a beanie.
Once they landed in New York, Nadia shared the first glimpses of their whirlwind visit to the Big Apple. Through her social media, the Paraguayan model posted photos from one of the most iconic tourist spots, Times Square, where two-year-old Marquitos was mesmerized by the lights and screens that define one of the most famous places in the world.
In one of the sweetest photos from her stories, the model is seen holding her son in her arms. She wrote over the image: “Back in this city, and nothing feels better than having my little boy with me.”
Discovering the world with her son
In an interview earlier this year, Nadia Ferreira shared with ¡HOLA! how she manages to balance her roles as mother, wife, and a woman as she travels with Marc around the world, with Marquitos as her faithful little companion on these adventures.
“I try to maintain a balance between my activities and enjoying each moment. It depends a lot on the situation I’m in, but if I’m with my son, I spend most of my time with him: we do activities together and go out to explore new places. I also make sure to carve out a moment for myself — to work out, even just a little — and of course, my skincare routine is a must,” she said.
In that interview, which took place shortly after spending a few weeks in Spain during her husband’s European tour, Nadia spoke about the excitement she felt rediscovering places she had already visited — but this time through her son, who is gradually discovering the world.
“Seeing Spain through his eyes makes me appreciate every detail even more. It’s like rediscovering everything with the excitement and curiosity of my little Marquito. Everything with him is perfect!” she said at the time.
